HARD GAINER

So…you have been training for a number of years, your weight has remained somewhat constant, strength has raised somewhat but that heavy bench and decent squat still eludes you. You are what we call here at Definitive Physique, a hard gainer. This is not derogatory term and to be quite frank every one of us has been there at some point. For myself it was very early on due to me starting out at such a young age. However, I still went through it, and until someone pulled me aside and explained certain elements of a successful training programme and the types and quantities of food I needed to eat my gains too were slower than I desired.
